Holy Moly.  There are a bunch of amazing craft books out there that I can’t wait to get my hands on.  These are all currently on my wishlist.  There is Pinterest, yes.  Which I’m obsessed with.  Don’t get me wrong.  But there is also something about holding a craft book in your hands.   I love learning a new trick or two from a book.   Plus, they make great decor for your bookshelves. 🙂

Some of these books you may be familiar with already.  “Craft the Rainbow” is a craft book by Brittany Watson Jepsen.  She runs the popular craft blog; The House that Lars Built.  And “Weaving within Reach” by Anne Weil is the follow up to her other book called “Knitting without Needles.”  Floret Farm’s Cut Flower Garden is the book by the crazy popular instagrammers – FloretFlower.  If you ever need a pick-me-up during the day – just go to their instagram account for a dose of beautiful flowers.  It works every time for me.

Here are a few things I’m working on mastering this year:

  • Macrame
  • Hand Lettering
  • Embroidery and knitting
  • Flower arranging
  • Making my own pretty soaps!
  • Paper flowers

So you can expect to see a lot of posts and inspiration with these diys here.  I can’t wait!

Also – if you have a crafter in your life – pin this for later.  If they are anything like me (diy and craft obsessed) – they will love any of these books as a gift! (hint, hint hubby)
