The following kitchen designs are timeless and beautiful. You don’t see them everywhere (like we do granite and stainless steel) which makes them unique. I hope these kitchen designs give you some inspiration and ideas for your kitchens. They sure are pretty to look at!
Even though our own kitchen renovation is probably years off, it’s hard not to get pin crazy over these beautiful kitchens out there right now. A girl can dream, right!? Here are 5 kitchen ideas I’m currently obsessing over!
5 Kitchen Designs I’m Loving Right Now
Marble and Copper
I just love the way these two elements look next to one another. A gorgeous smooth marble makes a perfect backdrop for shiny rose colored copper. Incorporating copper in a kitchen can be as easy as getting a copper tea kettle or copper utensil crock. If you want to take a step further, I’ve also seen copper cabinet hardware, lighting fixtures and faucets. It’s also easy to find marble and copper accents together, such a cutting board or coasters.
Exposed Brick Backsplash
Personally, I’ve always loved subway tile backsplashes. They are affordable and timeless. Lately though, I’ve been seeing these exposed brick backsplashes and I just love the way it adds a rustic feel to a kitchen. I really never get tired of exposed brick.
Cabinet Style Refrigerator Doors
Sometimes, a big bulky fridge can be an eyesore in a beautiful kitchen. A refrigerator that is integrated into the kitchen with cabinet style doors looks clean, seamless and elegant. Bonus – you never have to clean fingerprint smudges off a refrigerator door ever again! Yay!
I’m one of those people who likes almost nothing out on my counters except for a few essentials. My toaster, blender and utensils are always stored away and pulled out when I need them. I would do the same with my microwave but I have no room. I love these built in nooks that hide your appliances. Just open up a cabinet and close it back it up when you are done! Simple. Same with pull out garbage can cabinets. Because who wants to see that everyday?
Taupe and Wood toned Cabinets
White kitchens are having a moment right now for sure. But I do love the warmth that a taupe or wood toned cabinet brings to a kitchen. The trick is keeping some of your other elements white and bright, like the walls, countertops and backsplash.
Aren’t these kitchen designs just gorgeous?
