A roundup of the most stylish, best cane beds on the market today!
Remember cane furniture? I had a best friend who lived down the street from me and her parents had these retro looking cane dining chairs. Funny how I still remember them to this day.
Well, my friends, cane is back. Actually, it maybe never went away. Like aviator sunglasses. My Dad literally rode that trend his whole life – he wore them since I was a baby and now I’m almost 40.
Personally, I’m a huge fan of anything that can easily bring a bit of texture to my spaces. So I hope wicker and caned furniture never go out of style! (And hopefully my own grandchildren someday will appreciate.)
You might be noticing more cane furniture in the design world. It feels like they are putting cane on EVERYTHANG. Even DIY’ers having fun with cane!
So in keeping with my cane furniture roundup theme, today I’m showcasing cane beds.
1. Lulu & Georgia hannah bed
Let’s start with a cult favorite. Lulu & Georgia. In fact, they are one of the best online retailers for cane furniture, and their Hannah Platform bed is no exception.
Crafted of mango wood, this cane bed features a caned headboard and footboard and comes in twin, queen and king sizes. Ships in 2-3 weeks and is a very popular choice among bloggers and designers. The natural look will fit in with a variety of design styles.
2. Wayfair Cane Beds
Another goodie! I look to Wayfair a lot these days, and I mean A LOT. They are generally affordable, have good customer service and usually have a plethora of options to choose from. In fact, they sell a lot of the SAME furniture that is upsold on more expensive sites (the name and price changes but the actual furniture piece does not.)
The Menton Low profile bed provides a white or walnut wood caned headboard. The reviews are overall good, with customers stating that the bed is beautiful and feels sturdy. It does require a box spring with the mattress but it will bring a sophisticated vibe to your rooms.
If you prefer a no box spring option – check out this Schafer solid wood option. It looks a lot more expensive than what it is and has amazing reviews. It frequently goes out of stock so grab it while you can if this is the one for you.
For another option; have a look at the Korn Bed. Weird name, but whatever. Has a pretty tropical but modern style, comes in a variety of colors and sizes and is affordably priced.
Finally, if you really want to go crazy here – check out the wingback Shantel cane bed by Birch Lane (but sold on Wayfair). This bed features a cane headboard and a cane footboard with side rails. Choose between an antique white or an oiled bronze finish. It looks very elegant and has a french country feel to it.
3. All Modern Rhyne Bed
Love this cane bed! The Rhyne by All Modern features a cane headboard and footboard with beautiful rounded corners. Built from mango wood with a stunning black finish, it will be such a showpiece in your rooms. I don’t think you need much else to complete a space after furnishing a room with this stunner!
4. Serena and Lily Harbour Cane Bed
If I had a nickel for every Harbour Cane Bed I saw out in the design world, let’s just say I’d have a lot of nickels.
This is one of the most popular cane beds on the market today, and for good reason. It’s crafted by hand from hardwood and features double-sided caning on the headboard and footboard.
It’s simply stunning! Whether you need a twin daybed size, queen or king you are all set with this bed. In fact, the daybed is one of my faves! Also choose from a beautiful ebony finish or weather-washed white finish.
5. Anthropologie Wallace Cane Bed
Don’t you just love Anthropologie? I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again – whenever I need a good dose of inspiration, I head to Anthropologie. I just love their styling and furniture options and this Wallace Cane Bed is no exception.
Super unique with a boho flair, this Wallace Bed features a rounded cane headboard constructed of beautiful oak wood. It does not require a box spring either and is available in queen or king bed sizes.
6. France and Son Melburn
This cane bed is stunning! Completely crafted from gorgeous mango wood, it will bring a touch of texture and warmth to your spaces. Available in Twin, Queen or King and no boxspring required. France & Son is a smaller home furniture company, but they offer stylish, on trend furniture for reasonable prices. They are a solid company.
7. Pottery Barn Cane Beds
Pottery Barn, like Lulu & Georgia, has a plethora of options when it comes to cane furniture. Check out their beautiful offerings for cane beds.
Starting with the Dolores. I have a thing for the contrasted black with cane. It’s just so pretty. This also has a natural finish if you don’t want a black trim and is available in a twin or queen size. It’s very similar to the West Elm Yvette bed.
For a different look, check out this Manzanita Cane Platform Bed. According to the website; it’s “Masterfully crafted with kiln-dried, solid meranti wood, engineered wood, sungkai veneers and MDF”. Available in a queen or king and does not require a box spring.
If you want a more affordable option, consider the Sausalito Cane headboard.
8. West Elm Yvette Bed
OMG. This might be my absolute favorite cane bed on this list. Just downright gorgeous! I love the black trim on the headboard and footboard of the Yvette Bed (but it also comes in a natural color, too). It does not require a box spring (win!), and it’s constructed of solid reclaimed mango wood. Available in a queen or king.
9. Target Cane Bed Options
The Serena Bed is offered in a few sizes and a chocolate brown or white finish. Both beds are constructed of solid wood.
10. Urban Oufitters Ivy Bed
Check out this affordable option from Urban Outfitters. The Ivy bed is made of mago wood, features a woven cane headboard and footboard and is available in black or brown trim finishes. Some assembly required but you do not need a box spring for this one. A great option!
11. Arhaus Pearson Cane Bed
The Pearson Cane Bed is handcrafted in Indonesia of beautiful mindi wood. It features a woven cane headboard and footboard, and is available in four different colors, a black, brown, gray and white. Queen or King Sizes.
12. CB2 Unique Cane Beds
CB2 has some of the most unique options on this list. The Nadi Cane Bed is an absolute masterpiece. The caning is woven into a geometric pattern on the headboard, which features rounded corners. It’s meant for use with a mattress only. Great reviews, too.
Also check out the Maeve Cane Bed, available in Queen, King and California King. It’s simplistic and has almost a vintage feel to me. I love the cane headboard and footboard.
13. Ballard Designs Cane Bed
Ballard Designs has a great option for a cane bed with their Villandry Bed, available in black or washed linen finishes. This washed linen finish has a very French Country Cottage vibe to me.
14. One King’s Lane Willa Bed
A beautiful bed! The Willa Bed is made of oak in a honey finish, and I just love the rounded cane details on the headboard. It will bring warmth and texture to your bedrooms. Available in Queen or King.
15. Industry West Cane Bed
A gorgeous bed available in a variety of colors and sizes, you won’t be disappointed with the industry west cane bed. Constructed of “solid ash wood and inlayed with woven cane for a contemporary reinvention of a well loved mid-century design”. This cane bed comes in black, natural, blue, pink, green and white and in sizes Twin, Full, Queen and King.
16. McGee & Co.
The Sarafina bed is made of cane and iron, and I love the look of it. I feel like this bed could fit in a variety of styles. Available in King Size.
For a more classic cane bed look, check out the Geddes Bed. Crafted entirely of mango wood and cane, it is available in natural or black finishes, and in twin, queen or king sizes. No box spring required!
17. Natalia Bed Burke Decor
The Natalia Bed by Burke Decor is a little bit modern, but every bit stylish. It features a gorgeous metal hand-forged arch at the headboard and footboard, along with natural caning. This bed is available in Twin, Queen or King and quick ship, which is saying something these days.
Well, that about rounds it up. SO many beautiful cane beds out there! Here they all are again side by side, so you can really hone in on what you appeals to you.
