This post is a cellar door plants review of a gifted set of houseplants. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
Albert Einstein once said; “look deep into nature, then you will understand everything better.”
I think that means being surrounded by nature can help us open our minds and think clearer.
I always feel more refreshed (mentally and physically) after a quiet walk outdoors. And I take a lot of comfort in being surrounded by beautiful plants, whether indoors or out.
This is why I am so excited to have this opportunity to partner with a company that I truly believe in!
If you have never heard of Cellar Door Plants, then stay with me because I’m about to give you the full rundown on this great company.
Cellar Door Plants Review
Cellar Door Plants mission is simple: “bring nature into your homes.”
By bringing people closer to nature; they hope that they will be happier and more content and become more aware of their impact on this beautiful planet we all live on.
They also partner with One Tree Planted, a non-profit that plants new trees all over the world. Because trees are vital to the health of this planet.
Cellar Door Plants is a small company outside of Seattle, WA (where I called home just last year!) They grow a HUGE variety of houseplants and ship them directly to your front door.
You can search by individual plants, subscriptions, and plant collections on their website; so whether you are looking for Pet Friendly (non-toxic) plants, air purifiers, or easy-care varieties – they have you covered.
You can also pick up beautiful accessories for your plants; like planter pots, plant misters, macrame plant hangers, bundle sticks, and more!
For those of you who are really into plants, (I see you Jungalow style lovers), then you will love their subscription service. Each month, you get a brand new plant delivered to your door, plus exclusive shop discounts and access to plant experts who are eager to help.
I chose two plants that have been on my “plant wishlist” for quite some time. A split-leaf Monstera and a Chinese Money Plant.
They both arrived super quick in a nice, neat little box, but I was still a little nervous about the condition of the plants. When I unwrapped them, I was pleasantly surprised to see the soil was still wet and the plants were healthy and lush. Beautiful!
I decided to name them (it’s not weird, trust me). Bill is the money plant and Monkey is the Monstera (I just really like Monkeys.)
The plants come with planting instructions that you can pull up online. I had no issues planting them and I can’t wait to see them flourish and grow.
There have been numerous studies done showing the positive benefits of having houseplants in your home. Here are just a few of those benefits:
- Cleaner air around you by reducing toxins and pollutants
- Boosted productivity and creativity (it’s true – put one in your office!)
- Reduction in stress as well as colds, sore throats and headaches.
- A bunch of houseplants together can release more humidity in the air.
- They are just beautiful and make your rooms prettier.
I will also add that after having my Cellar Door Plants for a couple of weeks now, there is something very calming and cathartic about nurturing a houseplant and watching it grow and thrive.
While you’re at it, I recommend buying a beautiful plant mister or small watering can that you can look forward to using. Sometimes it’s those little details that make all the difference.
I highly recommend checking out Cellar Door Plants – and definitely read some of their 3500+ five-star reviews. Cellar Door Plants also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can rest assured that you will be getting happy and healthy plants!
