Hey you guys – it’s Friday and time for another round of Friday Favorites. First – a little service announcement. If you’ve been following the blog and you are noticing a bunch of changes, like the color of fonts etc. – Sorry about that! I’ve been playing around with the layout and overall look. After all – I’m a newbie. I just started this blog technically in June 2017. Woohoo! Three months going strong. I have to say though that I really love it. The idea for this blog literally came to me in a flash – it was a true light bulb moment when I was on Pinterest one day and I haven’t let go of that feeling since. I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with an exciting idea that I want to post about right away. It’s so funny. But it’s a good feeling to know that I think I finally found my passion in life. Thanks for following me and keeping up here – I have lots of exciting things coming up on the blog. Now, on to some Friday Favorites!
You guys know I have to post something Studio McGee when they come out with a new reveal. Check out this kitchen! I love the mix and match of styles. It feels rustic, modern, eclectic. I love it! And I love that it’s not white white white everything (which I do love), but it’s nice to mix things up. This soft gray color on the cabinets really warms up the space and sets off the white brick backsplash. You can see all the pictures on Studio McGee’s website here.
I also really love this table and those end chairs!
This next favorite might be a brand you may have overlooked. I’m sure when you are perusing on Amazon you see all the different clothing brands they have now. I decided to try a few pieces from this brand called Paris Sunday. And I was totally pleasantly surprised! It’s great quality and the clothing fits well. It arrives nicely packaged too! I’ll definitely be ordering more clothes from them in the future and I encourage you all to give them a second look (or first!)
Here are the pieces I picked up:
This dress would be totally cute for a wedding and it can be dressed up or down. It flows very nicely when you walk. The skirt is just cute. I’m really into the midi skirts these days!
I’ve been eyeing up several different baskets for our console table in the living room. I always love the Pottery Barn one (see below). But then I saw this one on CB2. Yes, it’s a laundry hamper but it looks stylish enough to be a basket. And the price is right. And the dimensions are right. Could it be the one?? 🙂
The kids and I (and our dog) went on a long walk yesterday and I love snapping photos of the beautiful flowers growing everywhere. Isn’t mother nature amazing?
I saw this and had to laugh. It’s definitely caffeine for me. How about you guys? 🙂
Check back on the blog tomorrow – gonna post about closet organizing and how I doubled our closet space!
Talk to ya soon,
