Here are some home eye candies for you all! My last home inspiration post was pretty popular so I’m thinking you really like these photos too! I’ve gathered up some beautiful home images to share with you all. Maybe I’ll make it more of a regular thing if you guys really enjoy these posts? Let me know in the comments below!
A lot of what I’m pinning these days is light and bright. Don’t get me wrong – I also love a good moody painted room. But right now, I’m mostly gravitating towards white walls. Especially ones with millwork, or built-ins. A white wall can be made so interesting with the addition of some trimwork and moldings. And it really isn’t a complicated DIY. Like this beautiful mudroom (pictured above). Some paneled walls and simple hooks make such a statement here.
I also really love this book nook by Rehabitat Interiors. I came across this photo on Instagram and it literally stopped me in my scroll. First of all, such a genius idea to make use of this space. I love the pop of color from the pillows. This looks like a great spot to curl up with a good book! Also, very well planned that the gold sconces match the gold cabinet hardware.
This next picture makes me want summer so bad! I’m definitely the type that loves winter up until the holidays are over and then I’m just counting down the days until it gets warm again. Although – in the PNW (Pacific Northwest), it’s really a mild winter compared to the snowy, bone chilling cold winters of the east coast. It’s just dark and dreary most of the time here in the winter. I can’t wait to get our patio ready for the summer like this beauty here! Design by Kelly Nutt Design.
Studio McGee can do no wrong! I love this little moment they created here by the stairs. The pillows, the wicker chest, the car artwork – I love it all.
I’ve always said that I’ve never been full on farmhouse, but I do love this rustic kitchen. I love that farmhouse table in the center that they use for an island. And of course, all those beautiful terracotta pots get my vote!
This next picture is one of my most repinned images ever! I love that leather chair and the use of mixed metals. Plus, it’s not often you see a houseplant make such a statement in a room. Does anyone know what it is? I can’t figure it out. I pinned this image from House and Home. But I found more photos of this beautiful home on The Design Stash.
I love this photo. Something about it just draws me in. Image from Little Green Shed. This is a great blog too!
Another somewhat moody space from Elle Decor. What really caught my eye though? That trio of gold antique mirrors.
This office has just about everything I could want. I currently blog in my husband’s office. We share it, but it’s technically his man cave space too and he designed it the way he wanted. He did a great job too! It’s painted BM Hale Navy. It’s a great color for an office. If I had my choice though, I’d go light and bright. And throw a faux sheepskin over my chair too.
I recently discovered this feed on Instagram and I am totally hooked. All her photos are gorgeous and styled to perfection. I’m in the process of switching all my towel bars to hooks like this. It makes it so much easier to hang your towel and it just has an airy, cool vibe to it. I also love the way she stuck some air plants in the basket on the wall for a pop of green.
Well, that about wraps it up. I have some fun DIY projects coming up, so stay tuned on that. If you guys want – be sure to subscribe to my newsletter. It goes out about once a week and will notify you of new posts.
Talk to you all soon!
