Chic Basket Pendant Lights Under $200

Basket pendant lights are everywhere. I love how a simple and inexpensive basket pendant light can add so much texture and warmth to a room. If you are looking for a stylish basket light, then you’re in luck because I’ve rounded up my favorites today – and all at or under $200!

I was looking for one to put over our breakfast nook table, but I didn’t want to spend a ton of money. I previously painted the existing builder’s light fixture, and that kept me satisfied for a while.

But we definitely wanted to change this light fixture to something with more character. And basket pendants have tons of character and texture.

What did we end up choosing here? We went with the Keyes Globe Rattan Pendant. We got it on sale for a pretty good deal, but it is just slightly over the budget I’m discussing today.

While I absolutely love the light, my only regret is that it doesn’t give as much light as I would like in this area. My husband wanted something more opaque because he didn’t want to stare at a light bulb while we were eating dinner. Ha!

This light fixture is definitely opaque, so if you are looking for something similar, I can’t recommend the Keyes light fixture enough. But keep in mind that it’s a bit darker than most basket pendant lights.

You might want to think about whether you want a see-through design or something more opaque and what type of shape you want. If you do go for the see-through kind, consider using a prettier LED Edison bulb since you will see it pretty clearly through the shade!
