Every year, I love sharing our home project plans with you. It’s always fun to let you know what we’re working on and what’s coming up next. Whether it’s a small refresh or a big transformation, these projects are such a joy to plan and bring to life.
For 2025, we have some exciting plans in the works. Let me walk you through what we have planned.
First up, we’ll be installing a new white pergola near our pool. This spot used to house our bar, but we decided to make a change. The pergola will provide some much-needed shade and create a beautiful, inviting space to relax by the pool. It’s going to be such a nice addition, especially during those hot summer days.

Speaking of the bar, we’re saying goodbye to it and selling it to make way for something new. Along the back wall, we’re planning to install a bar/kitchenette area. This space will include a refrigerator, a pull-out trash can, and a sleek concrete countertop. It’s going to be perfect for entertaining and keeping everything organized. I love the idea of having a dedicated spot for drinks and snacks when we’re hosting friends and family.

We’re also planning a foyer ceiling renovation. I want to add some shiplap or molding to the ceiling to create more interest in this space. It’s a small change, but I think it will have a big impact and make the foyer feel more polished and inviting.

Another project on our list is making updates to Hannah’s room. We’re starting by removing the large dresser she currently has in there (hopefully I won’t regret it!) and moving all her clothes into her closet. This will free up space to add a desk area with shelves for her books and small items.

We’re also planning to add new curtains, extend the molding, and either paint or add wallpaper to give her room a fresh new look. I’m excited to create a space that feels functional and cozy for her.
We’re so excited about these updates and can’t wait to share the progress with you. Stay tuned for more details and photos as we get started on these projects!
