Our Home

Our Kitchen area has seen a lot of changes lately, from new decor to new paint colors. We painted our kitchen island a deep blue color called Gravel Gray. This prevents seeing all those pesky foot marks from the kids!

Our breakfast nook includes a Ruggable Rug, this DIY Storage Cabinet, some Amazon drapes. Ideally, I would love a built in bench in this area, but my husband thinks they are most impractical and uncomfortable things ever! LOL. The wall color is Gravel Gray by Benjamin Moore.

Sean’s office is now complete! We turned this more into a lounge/office, but we use this room even after the workday is done. Sean has more of a mid-century modern style and this room definitely reflects that. You can read more about how we installed the grid wall here, and see the before pictures there too. This fiddle leaf tree is fake! It’s one of my favorites, and you can read more about my favorite fiddle leaf fig trees here.

The big project in our dining room was our peel and stick wallpaper. We added a washable tumble rug and I painted our sideboard with milk paint in the color eclipse. We also recently changed out the light fixture.

I kept our entryway simple, with a DIY bench and DIY entry table, and I also made the farmhouse coat rack above the bench. This area sees a lot of seasonal changes, its so fun to dress it up for the holidays.

Hannah’s room is a work in progress, but the current version includes a washable rug, a hanging chair and soft lavender paint from Clare. I also finished a diy kids desk project for her.

Tyler’s room saw the addition of this two tone paint color and gallery wall.

The playroom was one of the first rooms I worked on when we moved in. This room has seen ALOT of changes – but we still have our Valyou sofa in here. I feel like as soon as I completed this playroom makeover, my kids grew to the next stage of life and suddenly I have to change it again. I recently completed this board and batten wall.

This room also got a little makeover! First and foremost, I added a laundry countertop so I could fold clothes. The peg rail is helpful for hanging clothespins and clothes that need to air dry. It’s a cozy space to do laundry!

Our cloffice is where I work most days, unless we have guests in town. Then it becomes a little desk area for them. I added a DIY Wood Laptop Stand and this peel and stick wallpaper is one of my favorites!
