6 Affordable Curtains That Make Your Windows Look Like A Million Bucks!

So, you’re on the hunt for curtains that won’t break the bank, but still make your home look like pulled together? I get it. As a wife and mom, I know the struggle of wanting to spruce up the place without draining the family budget. Well, let me tell you, affordable curtains can be a game-changer when it comes to giving your space a fresh new vibe. But where do you find affordable curtains that don’t look cheap?

You don’t have to sacrifice style for savings, trust me on this one. With the right curtains, you can add a pop of color, some cozy vibes, or even a touch of elegance to any room in your house. And let’s be real, who doesn’t want their home to look like a Pinterest-worthy dream without spending a fortune? Stick with me, and I’ll spill the beans on where to find the best deals on curtains that’ll have your guests thinking you hired a fancy designer.

Most high-end curtains retail for over $200/panel. Multiply that by how many windows you have and you’ve suddenly just spent a small fortune on curtains! Yikes. But not anymore, below is my tried and true list of favorites (in no particular order).

Expert Tip: Want to know the secret to beautiful but inexpensive drapery? The secret is in the material and how you hang them! Curtains that look high-end have a nice, heavy drape and feel to them and they are hung with this way. When looking for curtains try to stick to these fabrics: linen or faux linen, velvet, cotton/linen mix or high quality medium weight cotton. Pinch pleat draperies will always take your curtain game up a notch, too. Avoid the shiny polyester ones!

1. Mrs. Naturall Curtains – Beautiful Sheer

If you are looking for affordable, sheer curtains that hang nicely – try these Mrs. Naturall Curtains. They are semi-sheer, meaning not totally see-through but not completely private. They have a really nice drape to them, and they are slightly textured. I went with the gray color here in my kitchen area but they have more sizes and colors too. I recommend hanging these with curtain clips and not directly on the rod.

Update: I still love these curtains and highly recommend them but really wanted some pinch pleat white curtains. See #3!

2. VisionHome – Affordable Pinch Pleat

Are you laughing yet at how many times I’ve changed my curtains? These VisionHome drapes are one of my favorites. You can get the pinch pleat look for a fraction of the cost. 3. Inovaday – Affordable Blackout/Pinch Pleat Drapes

I recently picked these Inovaday curtains up for our guest room which gets blasted by heat in the afternoon. These are a light linen, beige shade with texture. And they are heavy and come with a blackout liner. I LOVE the ways these drape. A great option if you are looking for a heavier true blackout curtain.

I recently tried the Inovaday pinch pleat curtains and these are like an exact replica of the vision home curtains. So both are good! These take a good amount of steaming and zhushing out of the bag, but it’s worth it for the lower cost. If you want trained curtains, check out Two Pages below.

4. Two Pages – Instagram Famous Pinch Pleat

Two Pages are the lovely (affordable persay) pinch pleat curtains you’ve been waiting for! Linen PLEATED curtains!?! These check all the boxes. Why affordable persay? Because these are still pricier than their competitors. BUT. These can be made custom to the exact measurements you want PLUS these come trained, which means literally ready to hang out of the bag with perfect pleats.

They have many curtains with stellar reviews, so definitely give them a look. But I must say that these linen punch pleated ones are my fave.

5. Popular Target Curtains – Dreamy Off White Shade

OMG! These Target curtains have a cult following, and for good reason. They are inexpensive, have a slight texture, are blackout lined, and come in that perfect, not quite ivory or white shade (the color used to be called sour cream). So they are warm and really brighten up your spaces. The only problem? They sell out super quickly. ALL THE TIME. But if you check back often, you might get lucky.

6. IKEA – Still one of the Best

Well, you knew I had to put this one on the list. IKEA curtains are still some of the best and most affordable curtains around. And you can have them shipped to you for a flat fee. I’m using their lux-looking navy Sanela drapes in our playroom. They add just the right amount of drama.
